In this position, she is able to integrate her expertise in dental knowledge, managing patient care, and incorporating her passion for improving patients’ lives with implementing oral systemic care into practice. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her children and reading oral systemic health research. One fun fact about Lora is that she was a figure skater for The Ohio State University. She is also co-owner of a business, DHE Method, that provides coaching and resources to implement oral systemic care into practice. She also co-hosts the Ask Why Podcast.
Dental hygiene clinicians are in a constant biofilm battlefield. We visually assess, then scale only to find our patient's gingival health has not improved or relapsed. But are we doing all that we can to identify sub-clinical diseases? Join Florie Mancilla, RDH, and Lora Hooper, BSDH, RDH, EFDA, to learn how you can better assess diagnostics and improve patient outcomes.
