Direct Diagnostics, as a transparent, science-based organization, recently submitted our HR5 test—the most accurate test available for bacteria in saliva, with the lowest limit of detection—to the Yale School of Public Health for verification purposes. Yale is one of the top salivary diagnostic testing programs in the world, and their results were astoundingly conclusive: the limit of detection (LOD) of HR5 qPCR was verified by the SalivaDirect Initiative, Yale School of Public Health. The results showed an unparalleled 100% level of accuracy, which is a result we are very excited to see and share.
Said a representative from the SalivaDirect lab at the Yale School of Public Health:
"The results of our verification of the HR5 test matched 100% with the claims that Direct Diagnostics makes about its limit of detection. There were zero discrepancies."
Said Dr. Thomas W. Nabors, DDS, FACD, founder of salivary diagnostic testing using DNA PCR, and Chief of Oral Systemic Medicine for Direct Diagnostics: "I am truly pleased to see such definitive confirmation of the accuracy and sensitivity of our HR5 test. We at Direct Diagnostics—especially our talented, hard-working laboratory team—strive to produce the highest quality test on the market; we are very proud to receive verification from the Yale School of Public Health."
We at Direct Diagnostics have always been committed, and will continue to be committed, to not only maintaining our quality of testing, but refining and improving at every opportunity. This verification from the Yale School of Public Health is extremely strong evidence that the entire Direct Diagnostics Team is creating and delivering the highest quality in laboratory saliva testing.
